Fences and roof tiles, thrones and carvings, centuries-old red sandalwoods that have grown about an inch in 100 years, have been created in dozens of forms by the delicate craftsmanship of artisans. In this private museum, founded by businesswoman Chan Laiwa, there is a gilded throne of the Qianqing Palace, a wonderfully carved Siheyuan, and a stunning lotus bed, all enhanced by a fragrant scent!
